Is this Higgs Boson the Higgs Boson of the Standard Model?

We do know that the particle we discovered is a Higgs boson. We also know it is quite similar to the Standard Model's Higgs boson. But there are two more possibilities, though no evidence yet for either of them:

  1. While almost a Standard Model Higgs boson, there are small discrepancies that indicate there is some new (as now unknown) physics.
  2. There are more than one Higgs boson, with other masses. This too would show that there is more physics and new theories to be explored.

Only time and more data will reveal whether it is a single pure Standard Model Higgs boson or there is exciting new physics to study.
